Baby Shower Invite

Hello Everyone!  As I promised I would like to share the baby shower invite I made for my upcoming shower.  I used the theme from the bedding we have picked out which I just love and can't wait to see in the baby room.  I am in love with anything monkey these days and you will see that in the invite.  They are just so cute!  And since we don't know the sex of the baby it just fits so well.  Enjoy!

Janelle & Michael's Program

Ya for Friday!!  As promised here are the pictures of Janelle & Michael's program.  We used the same concept as Laura & Stuart's programs because Janelle just loved them.  We changed it up a little though.  I just love how they turned out! 

I have a few things on the books needed for May, June & July so check back soon for posts regarding those.  I'll be working on programs for Kathy & Matt, and two invitations for some new clients.  The salon logo is still in the works as well.  Right now I'm waiting on the professional pictures of the stylists to put on their business cards.  Once that's complete I'll post their new logo and business cards.  Well enjoy your weekend!  

Another Parent Album

I know what you're thinking...two posts in one day!  It's a record, especially since I've been MIA lately.  But my mom finally got around to picking some pictures for her parent album and it came in yesterday so I thought I mine as well post her pages too.  It's really the same album as my in-laws just different family pictures and a few others added in.  Enjoy!

Where I've Been

Happy Thursday Everyone!  Yeah the weekend is almost here!  It has been a couple months since my last post so I apologize for the disappearance.  I blame the pregnancy for my lack of motivation to post what I've been up to.  It's also been a bit of a distraction but I promise to start posting more.  Today I would like to share a coolie cup design I did last week for a couple that's getting married in a few weeks.  I've also been working on my baby shower invite.  I know it's weird for me to make my own but my sister didn't mind because this is my thing.  It's weird for me to have other people make things for me.  I won't be posting that just yet.  I'm going to wait until the invites are out to not ruin the surprise.  I'm quite pleased with them and in love with anything baby these days for obvious reasons.  If I have a girl I may be in serious trouble because who can resist all the cute outfits and hair accessories!  I should have pictures of Janelle & Michael's Program up soon too.  Remember them, they got married in November so I mentioned it a few times.  Anyway I finally remembered to get those together so check back in a couple days.  They really turned out cute. Well for now here is the latest coolie design.  Hope everyone was a great weekend!

Update

Well once again it has been a month since I've posted.  I apologize for not keeping up as much as I would like to but I'm currently waiting to hear back from several potential new customers and since it is so close to the holidays things have just been slow.  I did however finish one parent album.  I mainly reduced the size of my album pages and swapped out a few pictures but I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out.  My in-laws will be receiving it on Christmas so I sure hope they like it!  Here's a preview of what they are getting.

I've also been working on the new logo for the hair salon I mentioned before.  Looks like we have a logo selected and now I'm just waiting for a few items to start moving onto the business cards.  As soon as I can I'll get some pictures posted. 

Outside of the wedding category I also would like to start doing peices that can be used for artwork.  This isn't quite what I mean but a friend asked me to make a little design to fit in a picture frame for a collage she was doing for her husband's christmas present.  Here is what I did.

A fun little design that will fit in one frame of a collage frame for his desk.  I thought she had a cute idea.  I just used the colors from their babies room to keep with the theme.  Working on this has got my wheels turning on what I could do for my own babies room for decorations.  I hope to make a few different designs to frame once we decide on what color to paint the room and pick out some bedding.  I'm really looking forward to bringing my own touch to his or her room!

Kathy & Matt

Hi Everyone!  It's been entirely way too long since my last post but that's the story of my life right now.  I've been busy traveling to my little sister's highschool volleball games.  They just won the State Championship this past weekend so that was really exciting to watch!  Now that's over with so I have more time to dedicate to invitations.  I finally have some pictures to post too which I am really excited about it.  I just finished a save the date for Kathy & Matt and I also have their invitation done as well so I'm very excited to share them with you.  Up first is the save the date.  Kathy said she wanted someting fun so here's what I came up with.

Where Does the Time Go

Well once again it's been a week since I've lasted posted.  There just doesn't seem to be enough time in the day.  I am excited to say though that the programs for Janelle & Michael and Kelly & Eric are finally done.  I will post pictures as soon as I can.  Now I am moving back to Kathy & Matt's invitation, just need to make a few improvements and start on a save the date for them.  I am also moving forward with the new logo I mentioned way back when for a local hair salon.  So I will be busy these next couple of weeks putting that together as well.  Might I throw out there too that there are only 52 days until Christmas!!  That's insanity!  I can't believe how quickly that snuck up.  I haven't even begun to think of a list for myself or others.  I love putting up the Christmas tree though so I hope Thanksgiving flies by so I can get to that!  Well I will post pictures of the programs hopefully this week yet.  Have a great week!
